i can't not begin to describe how incredibly blessed i am.
as the jr high ministry intern, i'm supposed to be a leader that teaches jr highers about God and faith and...you know, stuff like that.
but they have taught me so much. probably more than i've taught them.

one of those things is how to worship. if you have never seen jr highers worship, you should. it is a singing, shouting, DANCING party for Jesus. oh man. i love it.

but that's besides the point...
the most important thing they've taught me is this:

1 timothy 4:12 - don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

last weekend thirty-seven 7th and 8th graders demonstrated what that means when they brought in $11,000 for world vision's 30 hour famine. ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. that is A LOT of money and more importantly a lot of saved children. what an incredible example a bunch of 'kids' can be.

the benefit concert went amazingly- glory be to God - and the credit should go to those 37 students who have had a huge part in showing me what it means to live out your faith.

i am so proud of them and how they allow God to shine through them in their lives.

thank you to absolutely everyone who was involved - those on stage and off. and to those that came and donated your money.

THANK YOU
