wasting away

sometimes i forget about things that i really care about.
which seems weird, because if i care so much, then how would i forget?
who knows really...

anyways, what i'm getting at is this:
i've got a lot of passion for a lot of things.
and i need to stop sitting around wasting my...life?

i think i've felt a little lost. maybe overwhelmed.
i've admitted defeat and settled for second best.
but that's not God's best for me and not what i'm called to.

the victory isn't sweet without the battle.
and the battle isn't won without hard work.
