three family deaths in three months.
who's next? me?
death has been a scary subject for me this year.
"If you're afraid of death, it shows you have a life worth living."
i'm not sure about that quote. i think everyone has a life worth living. but not everyone is afraid.
"All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them." Hebrews 11:13-16
in other very exciting news.
baby Tyler James dePuisaye Geffkin was born this morning.
he's the most beautiful, tiny little miracle of God i've ever seen.
i was so scared to hold him. but then i didn't want to put him down.
i'm so excited that daryl and mara finally get to be parents.
God is so good.
